Date: Saturday, September 26, 2009
Time: 8:00 to 11:00 am
Volunteers Needed: 10 to 15
Volunteer Option: Consider running the 5K with other alumni or entering your children under 12 into the 1 mile Children’s Fun Run.

Please consider joining us this year and be on the lookout for an upcoming RSVP to secure your spot!

Student Send-Off Photos
Jul 30th, 2009 by Matt Bishop

A good time was had earlier this week at the freshman / student send-off. Almost 70 alumni, parents, and students attended the dinner at Wade’s condo’s clubhouse. Scholarship plaques were officially awarded and all the students got to hear stories about tech traditions, weird trivia, and some advice on what to do and what not to do when back at Tech. Two $1500 scholarships were also awarded to a freshman and upperclassman in attendance. Some photos:

The Jacksonville club’s stop on our new president’s tour around the southeast was a great success. We had over 60 guests attend the event and everyone was well-fed and got to hear about Georgia Tech’s new initiatives and projects. There was even a few minutes for some questions afterwards.
