The Jacksonville club’s stop on our new president’s tour around the southeast was a great success. We had over 60 guests attend the event and everyone was well-fed and got to hear about Georgia Tech’s new initiatives and projects. There was even a few minutes for some questions afterwards. Freshman Send-Off Party

Description: Please join us at the freshman send-off party this summer on July 28 as we wish good luck to all our new students as well as those returning for another year. This year’s event will be held at 6000 on the River which is Wade Barnes’ condominium complex, at the clubhouse. The complex is located behind the Shell station on the corner of San Jose Blvd and University Blvd. The party will be from 6-8 PM. It will be catered by Bono’s (barbecue and all the trimmings). We will draw for a $1000 scholarship for a freshman and an upperclassman (must be in attendance to enter and win). The cost is FREE for all students and $10 for everyone else. Spring Dinner Results

The spring dinner was a huge success! Over 60 people came to our event this past Monday and everyone had a great time. Scholarships were awarded, former basketball player Matt Causey spoke about his life before, during, and after Tech, and we even gave our parting president John Lee a few gifts to go out on. The new club president is Jeremy Williams. Some photos of the event:
